Abbots Arboricultural Advice is an independent arboricultural consultancy which provides advice on all aspects of tree management. Our areas of operation are the home counties, southern England and London. Shane Lanigan is our senior consultant and he has been a professional Arboriculturist since July 1971. He is a Chartered Arboriculturist, a Registered Consultant of the Institute of Chartered Foresters, a Registered Consulting Arborist of the American Society of Consulting Arborists and is also a Cardiff University Law School Bond Solon Accredited Expert Witness in both civil and criminal matters.
Shane holds the Royal Forestry Society Professional Diploma in Arboriculture which is the ‘Gold Standard’ that every arboriculturist desires but few attain. He is also an International Society of Arboriculture Board Certified Master Arborist.
